Meghan Phillips Dykstra is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and has been in the financial services industry since 2005. She established her own firm in October 2014, embracing the opportunity to combine her passions for finance, teaching, and counseling to service clients and help them reach their life goals.

Prior to starting her own firm, Meghan worked as an Investment Advisor Representative specializing in retirement planning for individuals and small businesses.

After obtaining her bachelor's degree in Government and International Relations from the University of Notre Dame, Meghan went to work for what is now Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PWC). During her time at PWC, she designed, set up, and administered client 401(k), pension, and profit-sharing plans.

Meghan also worked as a Treasury Systems Officer at ABN Amro where she managed a team of individuals who were responsible for supporting trading systems in North America, Europe, and Asia.

She has a master's degree from the University of Michigan as well as Western Michigan University and currently holds Series 6, 7, 26, 51, 63, and 65 securities registrations.

Meghan and her husband, Than, are Traverse City natives.  They have two children, Emma and Bode.  In her spare time, Meghan enjoys reading, running, cross country skiing, tandem biking, hiking, sailing, and other outdoor activities with her family.
